On Friday night, we didn’t quite have the group for any of the bosses in Karazhan, so we decided to just clear trash mobs and do the Keanna’s Log quest in the corridor on the way to the Maiden.

Once we finished the quest, we thought we would do something a little crazy and mob the Maiden just for fun, in our underwear!!! That is the story of why the following pics show us by the book in the guest room, and then running in to take on the Maiden! It didn’t work out so well, but we had fun!!

So we took 14 people to Bloodlord and had the craziest fight ever! Filoshadow died at least 5 times and we managed to use EVERY ghost rez there was.But in the end we still killed him. Uni caught the last rez, ran up and executed the bugger while the rest of the raid was DEAD (as you can see in the picture)! Soraga had to run back and rez us to get the loot.

This was a good raid week for Dragon Toon, albeit not one where we followed our normal schedule! We ended up taking down parts of Molten Core on Tusday and Wednesday night, leaving only Domo and Rag for Thursday. For the first time in DT history, we took down Domo, Rag, and finally Onyxia in one fell swoop on Thursday night, doing so in each case on our first try. Excellent teamwork on this one allowed us to do really well.

In addition to taking down General Rajaxx in AQ20 for the first time on Friday (see separate post), we tried out Moam for the first time as well. Our first try, however, saw some unusual sightings among the sand dunes of Moam’s lair – a Canal Frenzy that somehow got pulled out of the water and up on the dunes next to where we were fighting. Neeedless to say, the fight didn’t go as well as we had planned… More AQ20 on Saturday, hopefully.

And finally, just because it was fun, here is a pic from a somewhat easier fight! In a spur of inspiration, some people did a UBRS run as ninjas and pirates early in the week, helping some guildies to complete their Onyxia attunement quests. Talk about zerging someplace! It was a blast!

AssassinTag! DT's next game.  Here is how it works.
You sign up and are given another participants name and a Heavy Leather Ball.  Your job?  Tag your target with the ball thus "assassinating" him.  Once you’ve tagged them, they will hand over your ball and tell you who their target is.  The game continues until only one person remains.  It only costs 1 gold to play and the winner receives the pot.  Rules are as follow:

1. You must have a open inventory slot at all times. Filling your inventory so that someone can not tag you with the ball is cheating and you will be disqualified. (Please report any such incidents to me.
   You cannot discuss who has who for a target. If you’re tagged and someone moves on to your target… keep it to yourself.
2. Raids are free zones. Anyone participating in a Raid for MC/ZG/AQ/Ony/BWL are untaggable. But once the raid is over…. RUN FAST cause you will be free game again. The raid being over is determined by whoever was the Raid Leader saying that it’s done. Staying in the raid group does not make you safe.
3. Have fun. Any questions can be directed to me either in game or on the forums.
   All entry fees of 1 gold must be mailed to the Coldsoup toon in game by midnight 08/19/06 or you will not be allowed to participate.
