So yeah…….WE PWNED HIS FACE! Grats to everyone who stuck it out after the wipes and got that near 1% wipe outta the way. Oh… and grats to Xav on the killing blow.
So now we prepare for Illhoof, Netherspite, and that final battle with Nightbane.

Although it took us a little while, we are still moving along in Kara, with the Shade of Aran coming down on Friday night! Grats, Dragon Toonies!!!
Dragon Toon is moving right along in Kara these days, with the most recent casualty being Romulo and Julianne! Alas, poor lovers, they could not escape their fate, despite Juliannes blinding passion and Romulo’s daring!
This day’s black fate on more days doth depend. This but begins the woe. Others must end…
Friday was a good but long raid night. We continued our progress in Karazhan, and had some fun to boot! Had a great group that took down the Curator, with no casualties on our part. Then we spent a ton of time clearing trash to get to the Chess Event and pwned that as well! It was a lot of fun. Grats again, DT, this is becoming a habit!
As part of our forward march into Karazhan, we took on the Wizard of Oz encounter during the Opera event this week. After taking down Dorothee (and her little dog, too!) it also required us to beat Roar, Strawman, Tinhead, and finally The Crone.

So, in keeping with this week’s raid progress, we went to the Opera event and one-shotted the Big Bad Wolf on Wednesday night.
Given that nobody in the group had ever done it before, and we ended up having to learn from some very poorly written directions, we did good despite it being a pretty chaotic fight at the end. We wound our way up to The Curator as well, but by the time we got there it was kinda late and we were not really up for the fight. Next time!
On our Raid Tuesday this week, Dragon Toon had a really good run. Not only were there lots of DTers on to play, we actually had a starting raid group that consisted of at least one member from every class!
Best of all, however, the group took down both Moroes AND the Maiden of Virtue in the same night, both of them for the first time! Way to go Dragon Toon!!
On Friday night, we didn’t quite have the group for any of the bosses in Karazhan, so we decided to just clear trash mobs and do the Keanna’s Log quest in the corridor on the way to the Maiden.
Once we finished the quest, we thought we would do something a little crazy and mob the Maiden just for fun, in our underwear!!! That is the story of why the following pics show us by the book in the guest room, and then running in to take on the Maiden! It didn’t work out so well, but we had fun!! 
This past week saw some additional time in Karazhan, where the DT group took out Hyakiss the Lurker, one of three random bosses that can spawn in the Servant’s Quarters of Karazhan once you have killed all of the spiders, bats and hounds in the area. Hyakiss is a level 73 named elite spider, but Hotsoup described it as “more of a hard mob than a boss really”. Still, it’s a boss, and it’s dead!
This past week, Dragon Toon began to get our feet wet in Karazhan, taking a group in to take out Attumen the Huntsman. While we continue to get our members geared up, leveled to 70, and keyed to Kara, we are still having a good time. This upcoming week, or perhaps the week after that, we will probably be running two groups into Kara, so that everyone who is keyed can get raiding. To join the fun, come talk to us in the DT forums.
